How we do things
When it comes to quality, we have a very thorough system in place to make sure we come through on our promise. Our policy for quality and food safety includes:
- Working closely with all stakeholders, particularly our raw material suppliers. In order to ensure that our product is completely safe for consumption, we make sure that our fruit is pure.
- Training staff to improve technical skills so that we can maximize efficiency by reducing wastage as much as possible.
- Increasing staff awareness over potential risks and how to deal with them.
- Establishing SOP’s to manage how our product is packed and stored to ensure no preservatives or chemicals are used.
- Testing a sample of our product before packing it for final use.
- Conducting workshops from time to time to increase awareness over development in recent market standards.
- Strict compliance with food safety standards such as:
P Halal Food Management System PS 3733
P Food Safety System Certifications (FSSC 22000)
P Quality Management System ISO 9001 (QMS)
- Conducting internal and external audits so that any shortcomings that may exist are highlighted continuously.
- Ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are complied with.
- Conducting reviews on a routine basis to ensure that employees are working as per the SOP’s.
